Saylo has no account and no analytics. 31 Studio does not receive your voice, your text or your dictionary.

Your voice

Speech is recognized on your Mac. Recordings stay on your Mac. Recent ones are kept for up to 24 hours so a lost take can be recovered, then deleted.

Your text

If you connect an AI tool, the recognized text goes to that tool to be tidied, using your own account with that provider. That provider's privacy policy applies. If you connect none, no text leaves your Mac.

What stays on your Mac

History, dictionary and settings are stored on your Mac. If you use iCloud Drive, history and dictionary sync through your own iCloud account.

When Saylo uses the network

• Downloading the speech model once, from Hugging Face.
• Checking this website for a new version about once a day. Nothing about you is sent.
• Activating a license key: the key and your Mac's name go to Lemon Squeezy.

Payments

Lemon Squeezy sells Saylo as merchant of record and handles your payment details. 31 Studio never sees your card. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
